PUPPY LOVE!!!!

Ever since reading their CNN.com article, I have been trying to figure out how to raise money to help Puppies Behind Bars. Well, when I got home tonight, I worked all evening long and started making custom dog collars!

When I told DM about my idea to raise make pet collars $3000 to sponsor a puppy for the program - her response was, "I'll buy a one".

Here is my puppy, Pfeiffer, modeling her new collar - "Slugger Puppy"

Want to help? Here's how!

All pet collars will be $20. They are custom made with your choice of fabric (see below) to fit your pet. As of right now, I cannot make adjustable collars (although, I am hoping to soon!) so, I will need some information from you if you would like to purchase one.

ALL PROFITS from the collars will go towards my goal of $3000 for puppy sponsorship. The collars cost approximately $5 each to make, so $15 of your purchase will end up going to Puppies Behind Bars!

Here is my current selection (L to R):

Polished Puppy, Prissy Puppy, Paisley Puppy, Crabby Puppy,
Preppy Puppy, Beachy Puppy, Happy Puppy and Slugger Puppy.

Please note that these are custom order, handmade collars with the intention of raising money for a charity. There may be flaws and all of the collars will be different! Your pet will be one of a kind!

Currently, I can make 1" thick collars and cat collars (1/2" - no D ring to attach a leash to). I am looking for appropriate clips and D rings to create a 3/4" width collar for medium sized dogs. Small dogs will be able to use cat collar sizes but, I need to find 1/2" D rings!

I will continue to donate 100% of the proceeds until August 31st or I raise $3000 - which ever comes LATER. So, that means, if by August 31st I have raised $7500 - it all goes to Puppies Behind Bars! Maybe, I can sponsor TWO puppies!!!
